This is the new workhorse. This 1985 Astro started out as a single axle 300 Cummins 9 spd. Dan bought it with 314,000 original miles. It hauled furniture from Rutland, VT to NY. The truck as you see it now is 220" w.b. 600 Cummins 13 spd double overdrive w 3.70 Hendrickson air ride. The friend who owns the Ford CL here stretched it. He has stretched many trucks, primarily cabovers! Dan added a Jake, dual exhaust, Fast Fuel, dual feed, and sent the pump out. It will run!
This is Zachs 1996 K100 Series 60 Detroit 13 speed 3.58 rears. Dan met Zach when he was broke down in NY with a bad starter in his Astro. Zach came to his rescue and gave the Astro a tug. A lot of great folks with Cabover Cool rides.
